Park to Receive Restoration Funds
Chino Hills State Park has received the first of three approvals to get restoration funding ($440,000) through the Orange County Transportation Authority's Environmental Mitigation Program for two projects.
No Agreement Reached Between Edison and Chino Hills
Though attempting to reach a solution through alternative dispute resolution, the City of Chino Hills and Edison have announced mediation is suspended regarding the transmission lines. Now the Public Utilities Commission will consider the City's petition.
Third Lawsuit Filed Against Whittier
The City of Whittier got hit with its third lawsuit, this one was filed by the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority, over the City's decision to allow oil drilling in protected hillside lands.
